Copyright & DMCA

Last updated

SSSTikTok respects copyright. We don’t host, store or index TikTok videos: each download is fetched on request from TikTok’s own public servers and isn’t kept on ours. Still, if you believe the service is being used to infringe your rights, we want to hear about it.

How to send a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:

  1. Your name, and the company you represent if any.
  2. The work you own (a link to the original, or a description).
  3. The TikTok link(s) concerned.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorised by you, your agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information is accurate and that you’re the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

We review every complete notice and, where it’s justified, block the reported links from being processed by SSSTikTok, usually within 72 hours. The content itself stays on TikTok, so you may also want to report it there through TikTok’s copyright form.

Counter-notices

If you believe a link was blocked by mistake, write to the same address with the link, an explanation and your contact details.
